While many things have changed during this pandemic, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your health and safety. Our office follows the infection control recommendations from the American Dental Association and the CDC. We are committed to ensuring that our infection control procedures are current and effective and reviewed daily with the latest information. To be honest, I started my career in dentistry when the HIV pandemic started and there was no medications on the market for many years. I have always instructed my staff to disinfect the office as if everyone had a deadly, transmissible disease. That is my standard.
Of course, you will see some new processes at your next appointment. Please be assured that we have made these changes to help protect all patients and staff.
- You may be asked screening questions both before your appointment and when you arrive in the office. You temperature will be taken.
- You will be asked to wash your hands with soap and water or use the hand sanitizer we will have available
- You may notice that our waiting room will have fewer patients, as we are social distancing and allowing more time for appointments
- You will be asked to bring a face mask to wear when you enter the building.
What you may not notice is that we have changed all filters in my suite to Hospital standard HEPA 13 grade and have additional portable units. We have added antibacterial/viral inserts into out bottled water system and new additions to our high speed suction for aerosol containment.
Based on State estimates, we will be open up for regular care again in Mid May and will start staffing during our regular hours by May 11, 2020. If you are having an issue, please call soon to book your time.
We are here to take care of you in a safe comfortable environment!!
We can’t wait to see you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have!!
